About Paul Rost
I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, moved with my family to India at the age of ten, then spent 18 months in Haifa, Israel after high school before moving to Iowa City to attend college. I met Andrea, my wife, while in college and we moved to San Diego after graduating to start our careers - me as a horticulture professional and Andrea as an animal caretaker at the San Diego Wild Animal Park. We returned to Iowa City shortly after having our daughter, Ayanna, along with our two dogs. Our second daughter, Jaida, was born here and we have been blessed to call Iowa City our home ever since.
